the old cliche “home is where the heart is” rings especially true for me. i’ve lived in five different countries, have a passion for people and different cultures, and those i consider my closest friends are scattered all over this beautiful world. it’s taken me along time to figure out where i belong…i guess this is my reminder:) the whole world is home.

It was very hard to choose just one tattoo and I’ll probably post some other ones by her soon. They all have perfectly fine lines and are very stylised and simple designs, she’s done a lot of lettering aswell but in a very original way I love, so tomorrow more!

My day-old paper plane instructional.

In life, following instructions, being careful, and having control can only go so far. At one point, you’re gonna have to let go and see where the wind takes you —that is, if you wish to fly.

That, and nothing relieved me of stress/melancholy/boredom more than flying paper planes off the balcony of the place I used to stay in back in college. As cheesy as it sounds, my best friends and I used to write down our secrets on paper before folding them into planes, and finally letting it go.

Great tattoo idea, simple and lovely.
